Congress Kerala leader Ramesh Chennithala, recently replaced by the party as Leader of the Opposition, has in a letter to Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi protested over the ‘insulting manner of his removal, it is learnt.
She added that negotiations were being held with vaccine suppliers and manufacturers in a similar way as those being held with Pfizer to ensure the availability of vaccines to Indians.

In a series of tweets, the State Congress said that the BJP legislators who had remained indoors so far on account of the pandemic were all of a sudden appearing in public to grab the Chief Minister’s seat. Only the pandemic has prevented the BJP legislators from indulging in resort politics, the party said.
